Dr. Mitchell is Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), the Society of Advanced Body Imaging (SABI) and the American College of Radiology (ACR). He is had been on the Steering Committee of LI-RADS (Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System) since the beginning of LI-RADS. He is the author of more than 350 peer reviewed journal articles, 200 abstracts, 60 book chapters and 4 textbooks including the successful “MRI Principles” which has been published in 3 languages.

Dr. Kartik S. Jhaveri, MD FRCPC is a Professor of Radiology and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is the Director of Abdominal MRI and has been an Abdominal Radiologist since 2001 in the Joint Department of Medical imaging (JDMI). He is also the Director of Continuing Education for Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. He is a well-known educator having delivered numerous invited lectures and workshops at North American and International conferences such as the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) ,Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR) and International Cancer Imaging Society .. He is a nominated fellow of the International Cancer Imaging Society, Society of Abdominal Radiology and Society of Advanced Body Imaging. He has received several annual teaching awards from the University of Toronto Residency and Fellowship programs as well as an outstanding teacher award by the ISMRM.
