Seeing the Unseen in Liver Imaging

Muşturay Karçaaltıncaba, M.D. is currently working as Professor of Radiology, at Hacettepe University Hospitals. He did a body imaging fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2001. His main interests are abdominal imaging with emphasis in body MRI and cardiovascular imaging. He is the chief of CT and also leads the liver imaging team. He has 229 articles on pubmed and has given more than 600 lectures in 52 countries including major meetings such as RSNA, ECR, ESGAR, ARRS, ACAR, ASEAN, APASL and was a RSNA International Visiting Professor. He was elected to International Radiology Education (CIRE) Committee of RSNA (chaired IRIYA subcomittee) and ESGAR Executive Committee. He is a member of LIRADS International Working Group. His articles have been downloaded more than 600.000 times. He is a reviewer for more than 40 journals. His h-index is 42. He is listed among top researchers in the world according to modified Scopus database (for the years 2019-2023) published in PLOS Biology by Stanford University researchers.
