Recursos de resson\u00e2ncia magn\u00e9tica como imagens ponderadas em T2, sequ\u00eancias pesadas em difus\u00e3o (DWI) e mapas ADC foram usados \u200b\u200bpara prever e diferenciar com efic\u00e1cia os sarcomas uterinos patologicamente comprovados dos leiomiomas at\u00edpicos. 156 mulheres foram avaliadas retrospectivamente e os crit\u00e9rios preditivos de resson\u00e2ncia magn\u00e9tica para malignidade foram definidos como: hipersinal em DWI (maior que o endom\u00e9trio), ADC \u2264 0,905 x 10<sup>-3<\/sup>, linfadenopatia e implantes peritoneais. Os autores tamb\u00e9m descobriram que \u00e1reas globais ou focais de hiposinal em T2, com sinal baixo ou intermedi\u00e1rio na DWI (menor do que o endom\u00e9trio), ou linfonodos tiveram boa correla\u00e7\u00e3o com tumores benignos. Os autores testaram seu algoritmo de diagn\u00f3stico em um conjunto de treinamento interno (51 sarcomas e 105 leiomiomas) e em dois conjuntos de valida\u00e7\u00e3o externa (45 sarcomas e 56 leiomiomas). Dos 138 pacientes avaliados, 44 tinham prostatite com fra\u00e7\u00e3o de volume do espa\u00e7o extracelular extravascular (Ve) significativamente maior. Houve 92,7% de acur\u00e1cia diagn\u00f3stica geral da prostatite com ADC, constante de transfer\u00eancia de volume reversa (Kep) e tempo at\u00e9 o pico (TTP) como a combina\u00e7\u00e3o mais preditiva.
