Generaron velocidad de onda de corte (c) y \u00e1ngulo de fase del m\u00f3dulo de corte (\u03c6), los cuales son marcadores sustitutos de la rigidez y fluidez tisular, respectivamente. Su objetivo fue detectar una diferencia entre pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata, enfermedad prost\u00e1tica benigna y controles sanos utilizando <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">tomoelastograf\u00eda<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Un estudio prospectivo con 208 pacientes (73 tuvieron c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata, 82 tuvieron enfermedad prost\u00e1tica benigna y 53 fueron controles sanos) fue realizado. El grupo encontr\u00f3 una diferencia estad\u00edsticamente significativa en (c) y (\u03c6) en el grupo de c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata en comparaci\u00f3n con el grupo de enfermedad prost\u00e1tica benigna y los controles sanos (p &lt; 0.001 utilizando la prueba de <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kruskal<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">-Wallis). Los valores medios fueron m\u00e1s altos en el grupo de c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata. La clasificaci\u00f3n de una masa con realce o un quiste sin realce no cambia con el uso de VUE en vez de im\u00e1genes verdaderamente sin realce (TUE) y la diferencia promedio de atenuaci\u00f3n entre VUE y TUE fue menor a 3 UH. Los pacientes con ablaciones mayores experimentaron una reducci\u00f3n en el IIEF \u2013 5 a las 6 semanas (p &lt; 0.01) y a los 5 meses (ajustada p =0.07).
